What is the difference between 8300pro, 4100 P and 3100 K?
Seal One 8300pro is a bluetooth device which can be used with smartphones or tablets easily. The device can also be connected with a computer using USB and the supplied cradle. Software for all devices is available as a free download. To find the proper software just follow this link: www.seal-one.com/8300pro
4100 P and 3100 K are devices that are able to be connected via USB only. 4100 P und 3100 K are not able to be connected via bluetooth. 4100 P and 3100 K differ by the housing material only. 4100 P has a metal housing, 3100 K is made of plastic. The function of both devices is identical.
Is it possible to use the Seal One device as a USB flash drive?
No, due to security reasons you cannot save any files on the device. The device only serves the one purpose to confirm your transactions.
Where can I use my Seal One device?
Seal One devices can be used at any acceptance partner of Seal One AG. You can check its availability with the presence of Seal One Acceptance Logo.

What happens, if I lose my Seal One device? Must I get my Seal One device deactivated or report its loss?
Since the Seal One device itself does not contain any security-relevant data, there is no higher security risk with regards to its loss. Without knowledge of your login credentials for the acceptance partners' system, no one has access to that system with your Seal One device.
We recommend to delete or deactivate the Seal One device from the access lists of all partners.
What to do if the battery indicator on the display indicates that the battery is almost empty?
The battery icon indicates the charge status of the device. Please charge the device frequently. Use the supplied cradle to charge the device.
Does the device need to be connected to the computer while charging?
No, you can charge the device either using your laptop / PC or an external power supply (e.g. charger of your mobile phone). Please use the supplied cradle to charge the device.
